Pontiac Repair: motor mount 2004 sunfire, holse, one 80
Questionhi my son has a 2004 sunfire and the passenger side motor mount is leaking and a would like to know if i can replace this with a solid one the Hydraulic one cost 300 pluse and the solid one 80.00 will it be a simple replacement thank you for any help you can give us

Yes you can replace it with a less expensive mount for sure BUT you will more then likley have to deal with some vibration in the passenger compartment and mabe a droaning noise. As long as it has the same mounting bolts and holse to moat the motor to it it shoudl work fine. good luck :)
