Pontiac Repair: 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, pontiac grand am, throttle plate

Question
Why does my 2.2 ecotech engine hesitate and some times stall when the engine reaches 90 degrees? The antifreeze is at the proper level and the engine doesn't want to start right away when it does stall out. I installed a new fuel filter, control module, plugs, and spark plug tubes. There is also another issue, when I need to accelerate the engine hesitates, this problem is intermitant on cold days and hot days when the A/C is on. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Answer
Hi Frank:

does it hesitate from a dead stop or while your driving it hesitates when you accelerate? does it feel like it's misfiring at all (not running on all 4 cylinders) when does it stall crusing down the road or while at a stop light or slowing down? The one thing you may want to do for the stalling at a stop or slowing down to so clean the throttle body and throttle plate they get carboned up and cuases all kinds of issues.
