Pontiac Repair: pontiac g8, pilley, ac compressor

i recently purchased a 2008 Pontiac and g8 and within a month a weird squealing noise, they said it was pulley in my ac compressor so i took it in to get fixed, they gave me my car back a week later and now it doesn't squeal when its idle but whenever i step on the gas even in the slightest bit it begins to squeal fairly loud, i was wondering if you knew what could be going on

Hi there:

if this has a V6 engine in it it needs the pulley for the P/S pump and a new belt. If it's a V8 it could just be a matter of one of the pulleys are out of alignment but I have yet to see a V8 with this issue. It's almost every one that does it is the 3.6 Vs and the P/S pilley and belt fixes it.
