Pontiac Repair: Pontiac Sunroof, sitches, pontiac

My sunroof for some reason doesn't close. I can open it all the way perfectly but when i try and close it, it stays about 1 to 1.5 inches open in the back. I was wondering how would i know what part of it would need fixing and about how much it would cost.

well with out seeing it I can't say for sure what the issue is but there are a few things it could be. #1 the tracks could be binding preventing it from closing. #2 the position sitches in the motor are bad telling the module it's closed when it's not. #3 the module could be bad stopping the motor from closing the window all the way. Sorry I can't give you a better answer but there are to may possibilities. Good luck :)
