Pontiac Repair: Engine Stalling, mass air sensor, buick park ave

What makes an 3.8L V6 engine of a 87 buick park ave stall while driving and without any warning (no service engine light,no low voltage,not overheating,nothing)?

does it do it more so hot then cold? when it stalls is it like someone just turned the key off and die or does it spit sputter and chug then stall. If it just cuts out I would suspect a crank shaft psoition sensor. It it spits sputters and chugs I would suspect a mass air sensor. You can try to tap on the sensor with the handle of a screw driver with it running and see what happens it it stalls out the sensor is bad. Good luck :)
