Pontiac Repair: horn - cig lighter out, fuse box, cigar lighter

QUESTION: Could it be a fuse that is causing the horn & cigarette lighter to be out (seems every circuit is used for two purposes in the recent designs and when one goes out ... the other also goes out)?

what model car is this? It is possable that both are related. Does the fuse blow when you use the cigar lighter or if you put in a power device cord like for a Ipod/radar detector cell phone etc? or just the lighter. if it's the lighter that does it the element is more then likely the cuase.

QUESTION: Thought I had '06 G6 listed in the heading ... but I didn't.
I apologize. Could you take a moment and tell me what you think the problem is. The horn doesnt work and the lighter does not work (we use it for our cell charger).

for that car they are not related. the cigar ligter fuse is in the trunk fuse box on the left side. The horn fuse is in the underhood fuse box on the left fender area. does the horn work if you push the panic button on the remote? If so then the issue may be in the horn contactor in the steering wheel. if it does work with the panic button either check the fuse or it could be just a bad horn assm.
P.S. if the cell charger keeps blowing the cigar fuse get a different charger adaptor.
