What year is that 96,95? what engine is in it? when does it stall out? comming to a stop after driving a long distance? does it have a 3 speed or 4 speed automatic transmission in it? how does it act when it stalls does it shake violently like forgetting to put the cluth in on a stick shift at a stop light or does it sprit sputter and cough lack power then die. QUESTION: its a 97 and its got a 3.1 its also a 4 speed automatic and yes it its like someone turned the key off ive been trying to figure it out i pulled the ait sensor out to see if that would help but nothing so far..... i just bought the car and its giving me so much problems

Answer
I would look at possabley a bad crank shaft position sensor or possably a bad ground connection at one of the trnamission to engine mounting studt on the left side of the engine near the radiator. does anything else cut on on the car before the car quits running Eg; Dash cluster, radio etc...
