Pontiac Repair: 2001 Pontiac Sunfire window motor replacement, power window regulator, pontiac sunfire

Question
Hello Tim, I am at the point where I have removed the door panel and  water shield.  As I look at the motor it sit behind or inside the actual door. To replace just the motor, do I need to remove the rotor also? If so are you able to give me any directions on the best way to do this? I have bought the repair book, but it does not go into detail about the motor.
thanks kate
