Pontiac Repair: 99 grand prix leak, coolant leak, hey angel

I was told my car 99 grand prix has a leak in the bypass elbows unfortunately I'm not able to get it fix right away what are some other problems that can occur from not fixing the problem right away .

That is a pretty common issue with the engine when it get a lot of miles on it. that elbow is a plastic piece and from all the heat cycles it cracks. I would not drive the car due to the fact that it has a coolant leak and the engine will overheat and cause more damage. The part is prety inexpensive and the labor shouldn't be that much more then an hour If that is the only thing that's wrong with it. good luck :)
