Pontiac Repair: Delco electronic climate control, gm service manuals, electronic climate control

I have an electronic climate control unit from a 1990 Bonneville to fix. They tell me it is blowing fuses. I'm looking for a schematic, but all my searches using the Delco PN come up "No Part Found". The 2 stickers on the unit are: "Delco PN 16127442" and "59800A104360142". Neither number search comes back with anything.  THANKS! Dave.

Hi Dave:

what fuse blows one for the control head or one for the blower motor blows? that system has multiple fuses if memory serves me right. when the fuse blows does the control head blank out or does it just not work? Our GM service manuals only go back to 1998 and that is 2 generations newer and the systems are completly different! if you let me know what fuse blows I can maybe do some digging and see what I can find in an old service manual if we even have one for a 21 year old car kicking around the shop.  as for your part #'s the long # is not a part # the 1612 # looks like it's a valid # but doing a part # search on a car that old will be futile as you found out.
