Pontiac Repair: 2001 bonneville, service engine soon light, plug wires

My 2001 bonneville (se model) 3800 engine, while i was driving and my service engine soon light starts flashing and my car started to shake a little. Any idea what the problem might be?

The engine is misfiring meaning it is not running on all 6 cyliners more thne likley it's running on 4 or 5. does it do it more so whe it's damp and wet out? If so I would suspect a bad set of pasrk plug wires and maybe even a bad spark plug. That is usually the only thing that happens to these engins. the lamp flashing means it misfirng enough to cuase catalitic converter damage wich is in the exhaust system and IS VERY expensive to replace if it's damaged. So I suggest you get this looked at sooner rater then later. good luck :)
