Pontiac Repair: HVAC, pontiac grand prix, 2003 pontiac grand prix

I have a 2003 Pontiac grand prix se, 3.1 engine, my air condition is only blowing cold out of the passenger vents.  It does have the driver and passenger temp. controls, what could be the problem?

It could be 2 things. Either the temp acuator on the drivers side of the air box is broken and or stuck or the a/c system is low on a charge and the driver side is warmer then the passenger side I have see both problems the second otpion is odd But I have seen it happen. What hapens if you put the driver side to full hot on vent position with the a/c off does it blow hot air and if you turn it to cols with the a/c off does the temp change or just stay at one constant temp If it doesn't change at all it's the actuator of the door is stuck. If it does change from hot to cold I would look at the a/c charge in the system as the reason.
