Pontiac Repair: 04 vibe factory alarm, betting man, safety feature

Question
i installed a ad on remote start using factory remote.the keypad doesn't work when engine is running.i cant unlock doors or turn off . i have to use the key to open door and step on brake to stop engine.how do i fool the car so the keypad works when its running ??

Hey Danny:

I don't know of a way to by pass that it's a safety feature built into the car for a reason. If I were a betting man it would say that the factory keyless module just sees an ignition on input more so then just the car running so you can do some digging that way and see what you can find I'm not going to tell you how to defete a safety feature just tell you to look there :)
