QUESTION: sorry....it is a 2000 pontiac sunfire

Answer
Hi Jason:
My guess would be a turn/hazzard switch in the steering column. the brake light ckts. go through the turn/hazzard switch. as long as all the fuses are good and none are blown. I also would assume that the bulbs are not burnt out? these had issues with sockets in the rear for the bulbs would go bad and then the bulbs would not light. good luck :)
