Pontiac Repair: alternator wiring, pontiac montana, orange wire

Question
Hello,I recently done an eng swap in my 1999 pontiac montana 3800.Somehow i managed to snap off the two thin wires going to the alternator, the red wire and the orange wire.I found where the red wire broke and repaired it but i cannot find where the orange wire broke off.I searched the harness and i cant find it.It wont keep a charge.Any idea where i should be looking?

Answer
the orange wire is the field turn on whire for the alternator. it runs into the harness that runs aong the back of the engine where the wire goto the ignition module,MAP sensor and EGR valve. it's in that harness where it broke off is anyones guess. Or did it break off at the connector at that is what you asking me?
