Pontiac Repair: jerks when diving, chevron techron, pontiac transport

i have a 1993 pontiac transport and when i,m driving it,it jerks like its not getting gas, but i don,t smell anything. i do,nt know if its the trans. slipping or gas filter. can you help me?

well you need to start with the basics and with out me seeing it or feeling what it's doing while it doing it I'm impossable to tell you for sure. I would start with a good tune up including fuel filter spark plugs ignition wires and air filter. if you have an issue with the way the engine is running it will affect the way the trasnmission shifts so one can have an affect on the other. check the transmission fluid if it's a dark brown color and if it smells burnt then get the fluid flushed and the filyter changed. You may also want to try a good fuel system cleaner called Chevron Techron. Good luck :)
