Pontiac Repair: door lock question, pontiac grand prix, auto parts stores

We have a 2006 Pontiac grand prix, when you use the keyless entry to unlock the doors only the drivers door will unlock.  The unlock button on the drivers door will unlock the the drivers door about 50% of the time and will not unlock any of the other doors.  We have tried setting the automatic door unlocks to "all" when you put the car in park, however none of the doors unlock with this option?

sounds like you have amn issue with the body control module on this car. That module controls all of the door locks in the car. the fact that it doesn't unlock any of the other then the l/f with both the remote and the lock buttons seems like the common link here is the body control module. You need to see if any codes are stored in that module and go from there. Any of the big box auto parts stores will scan cars for codes for free. see what you can find with any codes and go from there. good luck :)
