Pontiac Repair: Radio Display / Blower, blower motor resistor, ac delco

Question
The radio display is on but very, very dim. Can't be seen in normal light conditions. Rest of radio works fine.
Blower fan works only on highest setting.
Checked fuses, all seem fine.
Are the problems related?

Hi Jim:

What model car is this? Grand Am or Ggrand Prix? The 2 issues are not related. the fan more then likely needs a blower motor resistor and or the connctor at the resistor. As for the radio It's an internal failure no bulbs to change eithert get a reman unit from a dealer or a AC/Delco repair shop or get one from the junk yard but if you do that make sure the part #'s are EXACTLY the same from the one you have in the car now and the replacement one you get from the junk yard.
