Pontiac Repair: 2004 grand prix door and trunk locks not working., trunk locks, ac delco

QUESTION: I'm wondering if there is a diagram I can look at for a 2004 grand prix door and trunk lock solonoids. My remotes don't work and the door switches don't work for either the doors or the trunk. I just hear the solonoids click but nothing happens. I have to disarm the car and than manually unlock the car/trunk. It started to only happen once in a while and than I went to go out to the car one day and nothing. Thank you for your time!! -Josh.

it don't have a diagram to send you I can't cut and paste service manual info into all experts answer box sorry. Do the door lock actuators click but not un lock or do you just hear a relay clicking under the dash? The body control module controls the door lock actauators. make sure all the fuses and ckt. breakers are good if so I would tend to lean towards a Body control module but that is not a do it your self job the module needs to be programmed at a dealer or an authorized AC delco repair center. QUESTION: i hear the door switch click, but the doors dont unlock. from either the passenger or the drivers side, but they do make a click noise. i just dont hear any sort of relay under the dash. Hope this helps. Thank you so much for your time. -Josh.

No that doesn't help much the clicking you hear is just the detent inside the switch. not any kind of actautor or a relay. This really is not going to be a do it your selfer job being that the body control module works the door locks and trunk and with out a diagnostic scan tool to look at the body control module data stream your not going to be able to fix this your self. Sorry. anyting short of a blown fue or ckt. breaker is about all you can do to check for.
