Pontiac Repair: radio, pontiac montana, exchange radio

Question
I have a 2005 pontiac montana and some coffee spilledin the cd player, not a lot, just a little, but the radio does not work now. It did come cack on once, but when I went to eject my cd's, the thing shut down again. Is there anything to fix this ir do I need to replace it and how much roughly to replace it?

Answer
Hi there:

No ther isn't anything to do to repair it. Get one from a junk yard but it has to be the exact same part # and from the same year van. They all look alike but the inner workings differ from year to year and model car. If you get one from a dealer the exchange radio is usually about $300.00 plus the labor charge. We get factory reman units that carry a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. Good luck :)
