Pontiac Repair: pontiac grand am horn, pontiac grand am, steering wheel

Question
About a week ago my horn on my car would go off at all hours of the day without anyone or anything touching it. i would have to go out there and barely touch it to turn it off, only to have it go off sometime later. I eventually disconnected the battery to keep it from going off in the middle of the night, but now the horn don't work at all, what might be the problem?

Answer
Hey Curt:
what year Grand Am is this? More then likley the horn(S) them self burnt out from staying on too long. They are not designed to stay on constantly Usually the switch in the steering wheel goes bad and causes this issue or the switch inside the air bad module goes bad and cause the issue. it depends on what year this is as to what the problem is.
Good luck :)
