Pontiac Repair: 2002 Bonneville Blower Motor, bonneville ssei, dual controls

Question
I have an '02 Bonneville SSEi with the dual controls for the A/C. For the last week, sometimes the blower does not work when I turn the car on. Other times it works fine. I also notice when I go around a left turn, the blower motor is speeding up alot, but only if the car is moving, if I just turn the wheel left when the car is still it does not happen. Do you think it is the motor or wiring or the control module?

Answer
Hey Bob:

well the only way to tell for sure is when the blower motor quits working is to ccheck the power and ground ckts going to the motor. when it quits working unplug the motor leave the fan setting on hi and see if you have battery voltage across the 2 circuits at the motor. if you indeed have battery voltage across the ckts. Then yes the motor is bad.Usually that is the only thing that happens to these cars. It's odd that is runs slow then  fast by it's self unless the motor is that bad that the aramture is binding up in the motor and the longer it runs it frees it's self up. Good luck :)
