Pontiac Repair: emergency lights, air conditioner condensation, pontiac g6

Question
We have a Pontiac G6, this morning the emergency lights just started blinking by themselves - we are able to turn them off - but then they go right back on - the switch did get a little wet from the air conditioner condensation - could that be the problem or do we need a new switch?

that's more then likely what happened. water is a conductor so it may have crossed the circuit in the switch after it dries out it may be okay it's hard to say for sure. Pull out the fuse for the flasher and let the car dry out and see what happenes. Good luck :)
