Pontiac Repair: 1995 transport TCS light, abs system, transmission oil

Question
Does it hurt the van to drive with the TCS light coming on?
Also could it come on because oil could be low ,the transmission oil /

Hi Terry:

any warning light that is on means there is an issue. The TCS lamp is more then likley on due toa fault in the ABS system more so then any other reason. But if there is a serious enough fault in the meissions system that lamp can come on also but that would also have  a service engine soon lamp on as well. Low transmission or engine oil will not turn that lamp on.
