where are the fuses in a car? so I can fix my lighter. thanx

what model car is this? it depends on which fuse box it's in. some cars have as many as 3 fuses boxes. usually the lighter fuse is labeld CIGAR. and it's a 20 amp fuse which is yellow in color. so depending on the car it could be in the underhood fuse box or in the dash board fuse box. Also if the fuse blew when you were using the lighter generallt the lighter element is bad and cause the fuse to blow. If it blew using an I pod or a cell phone you should be okay to just replace the fuse and it will not blow again use what ever you had in the lighter that made it blow. Good luck :)
