Pontiac Repair: Heater core, google search, pontiac grand am

What is the procedure on removing the heater core on a 96 Pontiac grand am 3100 SFI v6? I know i have to remove the dash but don't know the procedure. Do I need any special tools?

The dash does not have to come out but there are way to many steps for me to list on here for you to do this job and I don't want to skip a step or 2 and leave you hanging.. It's pretty in depth but you do not need to remove the dash to get it out. Try a google search for this or invest in a GOOD repair manul like a Mitchell manual or chiltons. Stay away from Hynes manuals. Good luck :)
