Pontiac Repair: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE A/C, blower motor resistor, pontiac grand prix

Question
The blower motor will only come on when set to the high position, I was thinking that this was a relay or resistor issue, what startles me is then the lights are on ONLY by the automatic lighting sensor (when it is dark) and when the control knob is moved to the med-low position just the head lamps will go out but will come back on when the control is moved to the off or high position. I am hoping that someone has an answer for this.

Answer
Hi JAson:

as for the blower motor it needs a blower motor resistor which is under the dash on the right side of the car next to the blower motor.. I'm a bit confused about the light issue you have here because of the way you stated the question, But what I think you have going on here is you need a new interior lamp dimmer switch on the dash.. Good luck :)
