Answer
Hi Jason.

Well from the sounds of it It's an ignition system issue. When the engine is under any kind of a load it misfires. How are the plug wires? if they look old or are a "cheap set" then replace them with AC/Delco wires or a good set from either NAPA or Carquest. Does it make a diffrenece if it's damp out or not? do you live in the rust belt part of the country? There was a recall on the engne control module and engine wire harness on this year car. When that recall covers a wide range of issues related to corroded ecm and ecm wiring on that model car. it may be worth a call to your local GM dealer and have them run the VIN# and see if that recall was ever done or not on that car if your not the original owne you wouldn't know it it was completed or not. Good luck :)
