Pontiac Repair: Can fixing a front wheel bearing cause ABS/Traction/Stability Control lights on 2007 Montana SV6, front wheel bearings, pontiac montana

Question
I have a 2007 Pontiac Montana SV6. A few months ago, after hearing a howling from the front passenger, I had the front passenger wheel bearing replaced under warranty.

Soon after, I had an oil change, and the shop found the front driver wheel bearing was "loose".

I took it to the dealership, who replaced it under warranty - but now they're saying the dashboard is reporting ABS, Traction Control & Stability Control issues. They're running the codes now.

So, could the wheel bearing repair have caused these new issues?

Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Kim:

yes they can be related. The BAS sensors are part of the hubs. It can be a lor of other things as well. these vans have issues with the wire harnesses going to the front wheel bearings as well especially if you live in the rust belt like I do it's VERY common for wire harness issues.. Most of the time with these vans it's either a hub or a harness not much else goes bad with them. Good luck :)
