the front speakers are not working, the rear are working
fine and the rest of the radio is working fine

Hey Jack:

well it's either the radio or 2 bad front speakers. The front channel in the radio may have gone bad that's why both front speakers are in op or by some dumb luck both front speakrs are bad. Did they stop working at the same time? If so I would suspect a bad radio. If on went bad and then the other It's a speaker issue. it's a process of elimination here. You can take the door panle off and do an Ohm test of the speakers they shoudl be in the area of 10 Ohms I think for that van . if you get no Ohm reading the speaker(s) are bad. Good luck :)
