Pontiac Repair: 1997 Pontiac GrandAm, plastic pipes, core leak

My car is leaking anitfreeze by the firewall.  I am trying to figure out why it is leaking, is there a hose hooked up to it?

Hi Brina:

if it's leaking right at the fire wall the heater core or the hoses to it are leaking.. Thes have plastic pipes attached to the heater core it's self and they have a tendency to get brittle over tine and crack then break. That would be my guess as to what the issue is. It's not too often the hoses to the heater core leak.
