Pontiac Repair: automatic sunroof 2002, module assembly, exact answer

my sunroof will not close all the way leaves a little at the front of the window ...is there anyway to make it manunal to just get it closed until i can get it serviced...thank you

Hi Sharon:

No ther is no way to manually close it. as long at ther is nothin in the tracks blocking the window from closing the issue is either with the control module or the motor Both can be serviced by them self. without seeing ti I can't tell you which is the bad part. that motor and module assembly have what's called soft stops and I think It may be stopping at one of those soft stops and will not allow it to close fully Which is the issue yout having. It's probaly a 50/50 split as to which part it to bloame for your issue.. Sorry I don't have an exact answer for you. Good luck :)
