Pontiac Repair: pontiac vents/heater, pontiac grand prix, ddor

Question
In my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, only hot air comes out of
the passenger side vents.  Even when the air conditioner
is on.  The driver side vents work fine, just passenger
side...what could be wrong??  Thanks

Hi Jim:

well it's one of 2 things. eithere the temp door actuator is broken or the tempm door is stuck. one or the other. The most likley cause is the actuator is bad. It's a pretty common issue with these cars. The acatuator is an electric motor that moves the ddor in the heater case. Good luck :)
