Pontiac Repair: turn switch relay, turn signal switch, steering column

Question
it will click when the signal is not being used. It sounds like it is in or behind the radio. Is this something I can get to or do myself.

Answer
Hi Rob you didn't mention a model or year of car.. My guess is it's a 1999-2003 Grand Am? If so the clicking nose is the flasher module and the root cause is the turn signal switch.  The contacts  in the switch are bad causing the flasher to "click" but the lamps not comming on... It needs a switch in the steering column. It's not really a job for the do it your selfer. The labor should be less then an hour plus the price of the part. Good luck :)
