Pontiac Repair: warning lights, pontiac grand prix, ac delco

Question
I have a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix and the warning lights for low gas level and high temperature are always on all the time even when the car is full over night cold. The car has less than 10k miles on it. It was parked for a long time. I think the problems are related. Any ideas?

Answer
Hey Sid:

YEp they are related. The problem is within the insterment cluster assembly. It was a pretty common issue back in the day.. You will need ot have the cluster removed and sent out for repairs. You can not buy a new one. Any dealership can send it out for repairs. The dealer does not fix them. they send the out ot reginal AC DELCO repair centers. My guess is the repair cost is around $250.00 for the cluster repair it's self (+) the labor. Good luck :)
