Pontiac Repair: 1995 Grand Am Wipers, turn signals, wiper motor

I have a 1995 Grand Am and the wipers only work on the highest setting, and at that only move about 3 inches back and forth on the bottom of the windshield (pointless for rain removal) I just replaced the wiper motor and it didn't fix the problem. I did use the same wiper control module and am in the process of replacing that as well. Any other places I should be looking for the problem? I also have a intermittent light issues with turn signals and I'm wondering if something in the steering wheel could be causing both issues?

Hi Luke:

did the wiper do the EXACT same thing before you replaced the motor? If so it's either the switch or the delay baord in the motor. If the wiping 3" started after tyhe motor was replaced thne you have something on the linkage timed wrong. I think you on to something if you have a headlamp/wiper issue that it's more then likley in the switch. good luck :)
