Pontiac Repair: interior elecric plug and water leak, 2005 pontiac g6, pontiac g6

Question
2005 pontiac G6, GT model. there are two interior electric outlet plugs, both dont work. Do I have to rewire it?
also, when it rains, it pours into the passenger side from under the dashboard. Somehow its getting inside the front, would you happen to know how to stop that leak? I dont know if thats happened to others before. thanks for your time.

Answer
Hey Cahrlie:

does this car have a sunroof? My guess is yess if it's a GT. if that's the case the drain tubes more thne likely came off tyhe front drains on the sun roof. The headliner has to be removed and the hoses re connected to the sunroof. Now the water leak could be related to the outlets not working Water may have got into one of the connectors in the dash and corroded one of them or it can just simple be a blown fuse. This car has a few fuse boxes. one under the hood and on in the center console on the passenger side of the car uner the radio and hvac control head. look for one that marked aux outlet or cigar that will be the power outlets fuse. Good luck :)
