Pontiac Repair: Pontiac Grand am 98 Speedo Sticking, speedo needle, fuel gauge

Question
Today i have noticed that the speedo needle and rev counter
has started to stick, ie accelerate up to say 40 then
accelerate and the speedo needle will stick,. then suddenly
jump up.
The same is for when braking, sticks and then jumps down,
Have you any suggestions as to what it could be,if it is a
cable or is it electronic ran.

Yes they are electrically driven. Chance are that the speedo cluster is bad. How about the temp gauge and fuel gauge? Are they working properly? If so I'd say it the cluter that is bad but if the temp and fuel gauges are acting up as welll it could be an electrical issue between the engine computer and the speedo head.
