Question
This morning when I drove my car to work, I noticed that the dash lights are flickering.  The head lights and rear lights worked fine.  When I turned the car off, the clock went to 12:00.  Would this be a fuse, or something more complicated?

Answer
Hi Amy:

My guess is a bad connecting some where or a weak battery. Maybe loose or corroed battery cables? The batteries in these car have a tendency over time to leak the acid out of them and onto the cables and cause all kinds of wierd issues.. I would also think maybe a bad ground connetor at or near the battery. The body grouds for this car are under the battery tray and if the battery was leaking it will effect the ground connections. do the hi and low beam lights work on this car on both sides? if not they have issues with wire harnesses corroding in the fron of the car but that will only effect the lamps and the daytime running lamps. It would have nothing to do with the radio/clock. Good luck :)
