My Auto-locks continue, to lock and un-lock themselves while im driving...please help!!!!!

Hi Kevin:

These older cars had issues with the multi function alram module causing the doors locks to cycle while driving the car. Either it has a bad input going to it like a bad lock switch on one of the doors or more likely a water leak into the car and onto the module. The alarm module is under the dash I belive to the left side of the steering column It has a couple of conntors on it and plugs into a plastic "socket" It's either tan,purple or black in color it depended on the year as to what color it was. You can unplug it but a lot of othet things go through that module like the seat belt warning lamp headlamp left on alarm and I beive it also has control of the rear defogger as well. Good luck:0
