Pontiac Repair: 2001 Grand prix DIC DRL HVAC INOP, grand prix gt, pontiac dealer

Hi!!  2001 Grand Prix GT, 4.3 auto, no climate control and not digital.  My DIC goes out intermittently, when this happens the DRL and HVAC blower will go out also.  The Display Info Center seems to be not as bright as normal when it is working.  Sometimes it will come back on within 10/15 minutes, other times it will not come back on for a day.  Fuses have been checked, as well as wiring harness.  Pontiac Dealer has replaced ignition switch twice and the shift solenoid (key still sticks in ignition).  Blower motor was replaced a couple years ago, as it just stopped blowing, however did not affect the DIC or DRL.  Any suggestions before I make the hubby totally insane with this issue.

well the issues you have here are odd. I would have to say you have a power or ground feed problem here. You will need wiring diagrams for the 3 things that quit working and see what they have in common. My guess is a ground connection that is loose or corroded.If this was an ignition switch issue you would have a lot more things not working. good luck :)
