Pontiac Repair: 1996 Sunfire No Spark, ac delco, crank

Question
I have a 1996 Sunfire with a 2.2. It has no spark. We have tried new module, new crank and cam sensors, used pcm. Coil packs check out good and getting power to module. Had multiple problems but the pcm fixed all but spark. We have tried all we can think of. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Eric.

The PCM for this car has to be programmed. If you just plugged in a new/reman unit the car will not run. It has to be programmed to match the car. That PCM fits multiple cars so it needs the correct calibration programmed into it to make the car run. All the parts you put into this may have fixed it but with out the computer being programmed the car will not run. This has to be done at a dealer or an AC Delco repair shop.

Good luck :)
