Pontiac Repair: 95 Pontiac Bonneville odd problem, pontiac bonneville, rust belt

Question
I have a 95 Bonneville with a 3.8 L engine. It has been stalling a lot. No check engine light. But it stalls if you use the power window buttons and sometimes while just driving it. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Fuel system has been checked.

Answer
Hi Jennifer:

This is not an odd problem, The fact that is stalls when you use the power window is a BIG clue. You have a ground connection issue in this car. there is a big ground splice pack under the left front door sill plate and carpet. The splice pack connection is more then likely corroded and it's causing the problem. You either have a wtare leak in the car that caused it or you live in the rust belt like me and just tracking the snow and salt into the car has done the connection in. Good luck :0
