My husband had to take the steering column apart to replace a part. He wants to know how or what is the right way to put the airbag in, without it exploding on him. Can you help me on this matter? Thanks

This really is not a job for the do it yout selfer. But the system is relativly safe to owrk with. Ther really is nothing special that has to be done. But in order to be very safe when he puts it back in un plug the air bad harness at the bottom of the steering column first then attach the harness to the air bac and intall it back into the steering wheel Then plug the harness back in at the base of the column. That will ensure that the bag will not go off. when it's all said and done turn the key on and the air bag lamp shoul flash between 5-7 times then stay off If so you good to go. Good luck :)
