Pontiac Repair: 96 sunfire, head gaskets, water pumps

QUESTION: When the car is idol she is giving off hot air, but when ièam driving the car getès cold, anyone have any ideals on how to fix this please email me back

This car is more than likely low on coolant and that is causing your issue either that or you have a thermostat that is acting up. If it's low on coolant these cars were noted for water pumps and or head gaskets leaking that is if it's a 2.2 liter engine if it's a 2.4 liter then just a water pump would be where I would look for a leak. QUESTION: When i take the coolant stopper of i put my finger in there the water is cold, i already had a new thermostat and water pump in there any other suggestions

Did this problem happen before or after these parts were replaced? Were they replaced due to the low heat problem or for some other reason? If this cropped up after the parts were replaced it may be due to a air pocket in the heater core or you may have an issue with the heater core ebing restricted or plugged....
