Pontiac Repair: 1995 lummina, starter solenoid, correct orientation

Question
my car i parked it then when i went too start it it would not start.lights come on battery is fully charged,it clicks when you try too start it thats all.could this be ignition coil gone

Answer
Hi Dave:

will if the starter motor just clicks and the battery is fully charged it's either a starter motor issue or the "crank" signal to the starter has high resistance in it and the starter solenoid is not getting full battery volatge to the starter solenoid. The clicking noise is the solenoid engauging but the starter motor is not running. When you try to start it do the lights dim in the car? that would be an indication of a battery or connection issue. as for your other question you sent me On those older cars the coils were labeled as to what coil is for what cylinder. They have white numbers stamped on the top of the coils. and also on the older cars the emission labels under the hood would should the correct orientation of the coils meaning in witch order they were on the engine. Good luck :)
