Pontiac Repair: windshield wipers wont move, windshield wipers, random words

So I'm typing in random words for my problem and there's an excerpt from another guys problem in which you write hey Dave.  Kinda jumped out at me.  So... Hey Todd, I went out in these crazy snow days in Washington a little irritated that I had to go get a friend of mine.  I didn't quite clean off the windshield wipers that well.  and they went up down and then no more.  I turn it on high but I only here a clicking sound.  Is there a timing to this or somekind of connection I can't see?

Well if when yout turn the wipers on you hear a clicking sound the motor is running. Then the reason for the issue is either the linakge for the wipers bend or opoped off the motor. The weakest link in the system is what fails. It depends on what model car this is as to what the weak link is though. If you let me know I can tell you the part that ususally goes bad on that model. Some of the cars up need to buy the whole assembly some you can just but pieces for it.. Good luck :)
