Pontiac Repair: 2004 grand am, voltage spike, grand am

I was attempting to fix my window clips when my battery went dead.  The radio started clicking because a cd was in it.  Now it keeps ejecting any cd and shows err accross the screen.  Also when the car is turned off and there is no cd in it, it keeps trying to eject.  Is there a reset for this or is it junk?

Hi Dan:

I think the radio may have broken due to a low voltage condition or a voltage spike when you jump started the car. Try this pull the radio fuse and leave it out for a bout a minute with the car off. put the fuse back in and then start the car and see what happens. if it still does it the radio is junk.
