Pontiac Repair: Headlight sensor on dash, trim right, front doors

is there an easy way to access the headlight sensor for the headlights that is mounted under the dash panel near the windshield.

Hey Jack:

well it depends on what year and model car you have. as a rule most od the car the piece of trim right up against the winshiled comes off seperate from the dash board and the sensor twists or clips into the trim piece pretty staright forward. But on some models the "A" pillar thrim has to come off becayse it it on top of that trim piece . The "A" pillar is the post between the winshiled and the front doors. Good luck :)
