Pontiac Repair: 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, upper intake manifold, pontiac bonneville

Question
Just notices a coolant leek near the drivers side rear of the engine block.   Appears to be coming from the intake area.   The exhaust was all wet.  I have 81K in the engine and it runs great.   Can you suggest anything?   I was told that these cars have a history with this at about the same millage I have.

Answer
Hi John:

More than likely what is leaking is the seals between the super charger and the lower intake manifold. I assume this has a super chager because you said it was a SSEI. if it doesn't have one then the rera of the upper intake manifold is leaking. The plastic upper manifolds warp and leak coolant also VERY common... Good luck :)
